Continuation Of Yesterday's Post

Just finish reading the book I've mention 'School Of Fortune'. This book is about a gal named Pippa getting engaged to a guy named Lance. Their mothers werer at loggerheads and were very particular about their marriage. They have been preparing the wedding for months. On the day before the wedding, Pippa began to feel suspicious of Lance as she feels that Lance is not serious about their marriage. On the day of the wedding in the dressing room, Lance and Pippa were left to talk on their own. Lance told Pippa that he's a gay and he will always like guys. Pippa was heartbroken. Lance suggested that they should get married then get divorced after a year. Pippa remain silent. When they were on the stage, Pippa announced that she and Lance are not getting married. Everyone was shocked. Her grandfather even died from heart attack. Her mother disown her. In order to inherit her family's fortune, she had to get a diploma, in any area. Firstly, she went to a driving school with her name changed to Predita Rica, she failed the exams and began to join a matchmaking school with again her name changed to Chippa Flushwitzo. She again failed her exams, she then went to a circus college, but she can't endure the harsh conditions of the school and hence decided to quit school. Then she went into a household school where she had great talent in. She was then in love with a valet. After graduating, she not only inherited her family's fortune, her mother began to accept her. She then got married with the valet named Cole. This book is really nice. This is just the brief summary only. You can go borrow the book, its not some kinda childrens book, its a novel with 342 pages full of small tiny, ant-sized words with no pictures. Just went to the Seng Kang library today at about 1.15 p.m and borrowed 3 books, 'Bitter Fruit', 'The Creation Myths' and 'Blood Sports'. All are novels with 300 over pages, full with tiny, little ant-sized words with no pictures. Now, reading chapter 3 of 'The Creation Myths'. Lately, I've taken a liking for reading. Maybe it's because I'm on the verge of widening my vocabulary. I'll keep on reading and reading and hope to be Gabriel number II!!!
